Free Crochet Granny Square Flower Pattern (2024)

Posted on 07/04/2308/06/23 by Veronika Cromwell

This is a free crochet granny square flower pattern with a beautiful 3d flower in the middle. Make this as a wall hanging or make a few for a spring inspired cushion cover or a blanket!

Crochet granny squares are such iconic makes. There is something super satisfying when you complete a granny square.

I often find myself just making a granny square with no further purpose, just for fun. But the great thing is you can always join a selection of granny squares and make yourself a scarf, bag or as part of a garment.

I love experimenting with different designs and incorporating items into the squares!

This time, with the spring just around the corner, I thought it would be a great idea to incorporate another three dimensional flower pattern into a humble crochet granny square.

I have previously designed a 3D flower granny square so I knew this one will be a winner too! You can customise the colors and use any combination.

However, because of the 3d texture of the flower, it would look beautiful in one color too!

You can use this beautiful square for a wall hanging, pillow cover or a whole blanket! You can also make a small pouch or a bag using this flower granny square.
